The Reporting Studio has three areas.

These settings apply to every chart and table in the report:

  • Date range: a quick range or custom start and end dates.
  • Asset: search and select the asset or assets to include.

Note

Dates and times are shown in your browser's time zone. AMMP data is stored in UTC and converted for display.

  • Page tabs: switch pages, or add one with + Add.
  • Layout options: switch between Grid and Align mode at the top right.
  • Header: content that appears at the top of each page, such as a logo, title and period.
  • Content area: the body of the report.
  • Footer: content at the bottom of each page, such as notes.

Building a report

1. Set the report configuration

Choose the date range and assets first, before adding charts.

2. Add components

Click a component in the left panel and drag it onto the canvas.

  • Text block: type directly into it.
  • Image: upload a PNG, JPG or SVG, such as your logo.
  • Period info: shows the configured date range automatically.
  • Metadata card: choose the field to show, such as Asset Name, Long Name or Total PV Power.

3. Add data visualisations

First set the data in the Data Visualizations section:

  1. Endpoint type: Energy, Power, Performance or Financial data.
  2. Data types: one or more, for example PV Energy (Solar).
  3. Data interval: for example daily or monthly.

Then add a line chart, bar chart, table or aggregation (total, average, minimum, maximum or count).

Tip

Select several data types from the same endpoint to compare them in one chart.

4. Add pages

Click + Add next to the page tabs. Use Grid mode for a structured layout, and Align mode for precise positioning.

Templates

Save a template: click Save Template, enter a name and description, and click Save Template. The template name then shows at the top of the page.

Load a template: click Load Template and pick one from the list, or start a new one.

Tip

Save your regular monthly or quarterly reports as templates to cut reporting time.

Exporting to PDF

Click Export to PDF. The report is generated with all components and data, and downloaded to your device.
