What you can ask Ray

Ray handles questions in plain language. These examples show the kinds of jobs Ray does well. Change the site names, groups and periods to match your portfolio.

Morning triage

Ray can check yesterday's performance across every site before your team logs on, and post what needs attention.

  • "Summarise yesterday across the portfolio. Which sites need a person today?"
  • "Which sites stopped sending data in the last 24 hours?"
  • "What's new since Friday that I should know about?"

Performance vs. plan

Ray compares each site with your financial model or target yield, and separates resource (weather) from real faults.

  • "How did September compare with our financial model? What's behind the gap?"
  • "Which sites are below target yield this quarter, and is it weather or equipment?"
  • "Show me the five worst-performing sites by performance ratio last month."

Alarm triage by revenue risk

Not every alarm costs the same. Ray ranks open issues by what they put at risk, so the team fixes the most expensive problem first:

Priority = (energy at risk × value per kWh + contract penalty) ÷ time to fix

A small fault on a site with a strict availability guarantee can outrank a bigger fault that's quick to fix. Ray shows the reasoning behind each ranking, and your team makes the call.

  • "Rank today's open alarms by revenue at risk."
  • "Which open issues could breach an availability guarantee this month?"

Root-cause diagnosis

Ray combines inverter readings, string and inverter comparisons, alarm history and site metadata.

  • "Why is Site A underperforming since the 18th?"
  • "Compare INV-03 with the other inverters on Site A over the last two weeks."
  • "Is this grid downtime or plant downtime?"

For how AMMP classifies losses, see KPI calculations.

Contracts and SLAs

  • "Check availability against the 98% guarantee for the storage sites in Q3."
  • "Which O&M SLA response times did we miss last month?"

Reports and updates

  • "Draft the monthly investor update for the Fund II group, with a chart of energy vs. target."
  • "Write a short note to the client explaining last week's outage at Site B."
  • "Export daily energy for all sites in September as a CSV."

Tips

  • Name the period and the sites or group. Ray asks if anything's unclear.
  • Ask follow-ups in the same thread.
  • Ask "how did you get that?" whenever you want to see the evidence.
