The role

The primary role and responsibility of this sales position will be closing new business through cold prospecting and following up on leads generated by marketing.

Sales Managers work closely with our VP of Sales and will be provided maximum exposure in the day-to-day of the business. You will be able to make an immediate impact as part of a highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Build relationships with key business decision makers, including CxO level in the renewable energy space
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Performing ongoing market analysis and segmentation
  • Identifying leads, contacting prospective customers, and developing proposals
  • Tracking and updating internal Competitor Analysis knowledge base
  • Updating and developing company presentations and other marketing collateral
  • Potentially attending conferences and events to promote our company and generate new leads

Working closely with the AMMP team to present solutions based on our customers’ needs, including appropriate pricing strategy, product strategy, and future customer growth potential

Qualifications

Must have:

  • 3+ years’ experience from a sales role
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding quota
  • Passion for sales and marketing
  • High level of self-management and drive
  • High level proficiency in both written and spoken English – French is also a plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience with B2B SaaS sales
  • Work experience in international companies and/or startups
  • Technical understanding of renewable energy systems (e.g. PV, inverters, battery storage etc.)

As we grow our business and fine tune our GTM strategy, this is a key position in our start-up. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter and to help support the team in driving forward AMMP Technologies.

We are currently on the lookout for junior software engineers with a strong backend focus. Your responsibilities:

• Building end-to-end features that contribute to growing AMMP as a platform

• Building robust well tested software to create a reliable data pipeline for our customers

• Testing your features and being fully responsible for them when they go live

• Working across different projects and programming languages (mainly Python and HTML5/JavaScript)

• Troubleshooting live issues

Our stack:

• Most of our codebase is in Python

• We are currently migrating from DynamoDB to Postgres

• Our infrastructure is running on AWS (Serverless, EC2, SQS, S3)

• We have some custom applications running on Vue. js

• We use InfluxDB as a time series database to manage our sensor data

• We use Grafana as a monitoring and reporting tool.

• Building up AMMP’s infrastructure for IoT data collection from remote energy systems
• Building, improving, and deploying a robust, well-tested suite of software that runs on these “edge” devices
• Working with AMMP “edge” devices deployed in the field across the globe, including configuration and provisioning of new devices
• Improving and further automating device provisioning
• Designing and selecting the hardware solutions for new deployments – including edge computing, sensors, and communications
• Solving technical problems that arise due to the challenging environments we work in.

We are looking for a dedicated individual with experience with coding and data to drive our growth and impact further. He or she will be responsible for:

AMMP is seeking an individual who is passionate about sales and renewable energy technologies to join as Business Development Intern. This is a paid position.

The role
The primary role and responsibility of the intern will include lead generation and market research, in addition to assisting members of the team drive the sales engine. As a Business Development intern, you will participate in a variety of internal and external sales related meetings, building on your foundation skills, and mastering those skills which will enable progression into future sales and marketing roles.
Interns will work closely with our VP of Sales and will be provided maximum exposure in the day-to-day of the business. You will be able to make an immediate impact as part of a highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Performing ongoing market analysis and segmentation
  • Identifying leads, contacting prospective customers, and developing proposals
  • Tracking and updating internal Competitor Analysis knowledge base
  • Updating and developing company presentations and other marketing collateral
  • Supporting marketing strategy: articles, social media content, materials, website content, newsletter, etc.
  • Potentially attending conferences and events to promote our company and generate new leads
  • Working closely with the AMMP team to present solutions based on our customers’ needs, including appropriate pricing strategy, product strategy, and future customer growth potential

Qualifications
Must have:

  • Ability to commit 6 months for internship
  • Passion for sales and marketing
  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent program OR very recent Graduate
  • High level of self-management and drive
  • High level proficiency in both written and spoken English – French is also a plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience with B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience managing social media platforms
  • Experience developing online, lead generation strategies
  • WordPress and basic graphic design ability
  • Work experience in international companies and/or startups
  • Technical understanding of renewable energy systems (e.g. PV, inverters, battery storage etc.)
